shipbuilding elevating transporter

ASK: We are currently establishing a new shipbuilding organization in LA USA and are interested in transporter information. We have the need for a few 400 to 500 ton shipyard units for module erection. Please advise on models, specifications and pricing. We are also looking for self propelled modular transporters for moving larger units and constructed vessels of up to 450' long by 85' wide that could weigh 5500 short tons. We are in need of equipment to move in an articulated manner. Other vessels of consideration will be 260' long by 52' wide weighing 4000 short tons. I think we may need information concerning the multiple axle propelled modular transporters. We are looking for budgetary numbers for as many units needed to move the complete vessel from a building to the dry dock.

ANSWER: The units you talked about can combined to work together as one; each modular also can work independently if you want to. Our products got similar ability but absolutely different prices with EU brands. The key parts of our products are coming from world class companies. Such as diesel engine we use Deutz or Cummins, hydraulic rotor we use Rexroth, tyres we use Michelin. Please be assured about our products’ quality. You said you need one unit of SPMT for moving constructed vessels of up to 450' long by 85' wide that could weigh 5500 short tons (4990 metric tons). It looks like it is a kind of weight pretty concentrated vessel; I mean the size of the vessel is too small considering the weight of it. If the weight is really concentrated like that, we have to change to another plan.
